Crown and Bridge
Veneers and Bleaching
Crown and Bridge
• Chipping or breakage of teeth due to trauma
• Severe tooth decay that weakens a tooth
• After root canal therapy, tooth is weakened and may
fall apart
• Tooth with large filling
VEENERS
A dentist may use one veneer to restore a single tooth that may have been fractured or discolored, or multiple teeth to create a "Hollywood" type of makeover. Multiple veneers can close spaces, lengthen teeth that have been shortened by wear, fill the black triangles between teeth caused by gum recession, provide a uniform color, shape, and symmetry, and make the teeth appear straight.
Root Canals and Extractions
ROOT CANAL
A root canal is a treatment used to repair and save a tooth that is badly decayed or becomes infected. During a root canal procedure, the nerve and pulp are removed and the inside of the tooth is cleaned and sealed. Without treatment, the tissue surrounding the tooth will become infected and abscesses may form.
"Root canal" is the term used to describe the natural cavity within the center of the tooth. The pulp or pulp chamber is the soft area within the root canal. The tooth's nerve lies within the root canal.
EXTRACTION
When a tooth is no longer repairable by root canal, has lost significant bone support, blocking another tooth from coming in, or is causing severe pain a tooth can then be removed.
Dentures
DENTURES
Dentures are designed to replace all or some missing teeth. Advantages to replacing missing teeth include: increased chewing capability, improved facial appearance, and of course the self-confidence to smile again!
Types of dentures:
Complete Dentures are worn by patients missing all their teeth on the upper, lower, or both arches.
Partial Dentures are worn by patients missing some teeth. They can be made with a metal base or a pink flexible material for enhanced appearance.
Over Dentures are worn by patients missing all or some of their teeth and need additional support and stability through the use of dental implants. These types of dentures offer increased hold when not enough bone support remains.
